Csection with embolization of uterine artery
A Cesarean section can be electively performed anytime after 39 weeks. It can also be performed before 39 weeks if there is a medical reason. This allows the patient and the doctor to choose the time of delivery for non-emergent reasons. If labor occurs prior to the scheduled Cesarean section, the patient would immediately go to the hospital, where a C-section can done on an urgent basis.
