A member asked:

How long does it take for the stitches on the uterus to dissolve after having a c-section and if they are dissolved does that mean my uterus is closed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

70 days: I takes around 2 1/2 months for the stitches to dissolve after a cesarean. Assuming the doctor used a vicryl suture, which most doctors use. Yes your uterus is closed :-).
