Depends: It depends on the experience of your gyn surgeon & your anatomy. Davinci robotic, total laparoscopic, laparoscopic assisted, or open are options that can only be addressed with your surgeon. Your recovery will be better with a laparoscopic approach but it really depends on how much disease you have, adhesions, and how safely trochars can be placed & how much room there is to operate. Laparoscopic: A laparoscopic approach is "better" if able to be done. This type of surgery has faster recovery and hospital time and less pain.
