Soft tissue sarcoma (rhabdomyosarcoma) is a condition in which a person has a cancerous tumor of the muscles that are attached to a bone. The more common sites affected are in the head, neck, arms, and legs. Rhabdomyosarcoma is one of the cancers seen in children, and sometimes is accompanied by other birth defects.
