HIV test
There are several ways to detect the HIV virus. The first is by antibodies. This includes eia (enzyme immuno assay). The rapid HIV tests are these types. The second way detects proteins on the viral coat (western blot). This is a gel plate electrophoresis. Thirdly there is pcr (polymerase chain reaction).
