Supportive tissues: Sarcomas fall into a group of malignancies derived from supportive tissue. Osseous sarcomas are derived from bone. The liposarcomas, fibrosarcomas , neurosarcomas have their origin in tissue excluding glandular components as in bowel, They can arise in any part of the body from H&N to retroperitoneum extremity and supportive tissue of stomach and uterus ie leiomyosarcoma
