Hand tendon injury is a condition in which a person has a damaged or broken tendon that moves a hand, thumb, or fingers. Many of the muscles that move the hand are located in the forearm, with the tendons (whitish connective tissue "cables" that connect the muscles to the bones) traveling through the wrist area to reach the fingers.
