Itchy and reddening of the skin of the penis(outer), what are the reasons and remedy for this? is it a fungal infection?

It's more common w/uncircumcised males & depending on cause may be associated w/systemic complaints like joint pain, mouth sores, swollen glands & feeling overall 'bad'. Most commonly due to candida but as well from gc or syphilis, hpv, herpes infection, streptrichomonas, gardnerella, autoimmune diseases, contact dermatitis and other skin dis'.
