A member asked:

Hi there, is a negative syphilis blood test (finger prick sent off to a lab for testing) conclusive at 9 weeks after exposure? wondering whether to re test or to move on from it, do many peoples results change after this period? thanks?

For a completely conclusive result, testing after 12 weeks is recommended. You can validate this by calling your local department of public health.

There are several which are conclusive at that time peropd and will depend which one/ ones your doc orders. And it will not change within the accuracy of the test
