Prenatal Vitamins: I think your doctor does not assume you want a baby as much as he wants a potential pregancy to be as healthy as possible. Prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid, will help to prevent birth defects as well as help make sure you are both getting your necessary vitamins for optimal health. Prenatal vitamins do help with healthy hair and skin, especially if your diet is lakcing any nutrients.

Vitamins: In general Vitamins do not interfere with birth control. I am not familiar with this particular brand.
