Strep results are positive & the doctor at urgent care had decided to pre treat me so i have been on the antibiotic & steroid since thursday evening. am i still contagious? my throat has improved. can i have sex & oral with my bf & him not get strep?

You're still contagious. We recommend 10 full days to treat culture positive strep infections to ensure complete clearing of the bacteria from your throat to prevent a carrier state and development of rheumatic or scarlet fever.
