Can the intake of doxycycline for 7 days (for something else) affect a syphilis test i.e. make it false negative?

If exposed to syphilis but before symptoms (chancre, i.e. syphilitic sore), this dose of doxycycline would eliminate syphilis before it gets started. The blood test would be negative, because syphilis never got started or was cured at an early stage. A negative blood test would in this circumstance is a true negative, not false negative.
