Hello doctor, i had a vdrl test and it came out weak reactive..does this mean i stil have syphilis? and what drug do u sugest, i am using doxycycline

Not always: VDRL is still time honored inexpensive test for mass screening of syphilis , some times will give false positive results , then need as in yours , more specific tests like like RPR , FTA-RBS etc type of tests are needed Check with your doctor , Doxycycline may not be right drug , First diagnosis has to be established before undergoing any treatment .
