Breast enlargement is seen most commonly in males who are overweight or obese. The excess estrogen in the fatty tissue affects the growth of breast tissue. In this situation, only weight loss will reverse the breast growth. If obesity is not a factor, then a visit to an endocrinologist would be a good idea. Exam, lab tests and imaging could determine if there is another problem.
