True phimosis will require a loosening of the foreskin to resolve. Meds seldom help. A urologist can likely do a simple release in the office to prevent this from causing other problems.

Phimosis is inability to fully retract the foreskin not a fungal infection - so your med will not work. Try using a little cortisone cream and then retracting the foreskin gently as far back as it will go then pull it back forward- several times a day. Slowly the foreskin will be easily retractable completely. The other option is a circumcision. Good luck

It is imperative that you see a doctor, preferably a urologist for an in-person evaluation and treatment. Do not force the foreskin to avoid the dangerous complication of para-phimosis.
