doctor said i have fungal infection in cut under pinky toe. using an anti-fungal cream called pevaryl but doesnt seem effective. is this dangerous?

Cut under pinky toe: if the econozole cream not helping then use topical antibiotic ointment with band aid and see podiatrist.
