No problem and no risk, especially if you both were treated with doxycycline. If not (e.g. if either of you was treated with azithromycin), you could both be retested in a few weeks to recheck. But do not retest sooner than 3 weeks; it sometimes takes that long for the test to become negative, even in persons who have been cured.
