If your boyfriend has HPV, touching his penis and then touching your genital area without thoroughly washing your hands may spread HPV if the mucosal surface of the vagina is touched. Likelihood is small, but "possible".
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.

The genital wart strains of HPV are require genital to genital contact for transfer, not simple contact like a strep or staff germ might. If the BF has active genital warts that have not been removed or cleared naturally direct sexual contact will be a risk.

The hand as a vehicle of transmission may transmit the virus if the mucosal surface of the vagina is touched after contact with active wart virus. Likelihood small, but "possible".
