Hi doc..my vaginal swap test result came out, and im seeing i have epithelial cells 2-3/hpf, and pus cells 4-6/hpf..then culture yielded scanty colonies of staphylococcus aureus after 24hours of incubation at 37degree celsius..interpret this please?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
