A 25-year-old male asked:

I had stapled hemorrhoid surgery 2 months ago, will the staples fall out on their own or do i have to get another procedure to get them removed? i tried having receptive anal sex but i found out i still have staples in there 2 months after my surgery?

I wonder why you did not contact the surgeon. You had the procedure called stapled hemorrhoidectomy and the staples were supposed to fall off and pass in the stool unnoticed. It seems that you could have a staple not sloughed off by itself so you should contact the surgeon for help.

Yes they should fall out. If you think you still have them get checked by your surgeon.
