A member asked:

If am having protected sex (with a condom on my penis), what sex positions can i take to be the best to avoid stis from a woman including skin infections. from these; doggy, missionary, woman on top, spooning, side ways e.t.c?

STD's are transferred within the mucus secretions involved in sexual activity. There is no "preferred" or "safer" position. If you are engaged in sexual activity the risk remains with all such contact.

You are doing the right thing by wearing a condom. Sex positions do not affect aquiring STI. Best is to have your partner tested.

Positions will not affect the risk of STIs. Condoms do not protect against HPV and HSV. Safe sex: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/safer-sex-guidelines
