Ive been on the mini pill for almost 7 years. i recently was prescribed klonopin. will klonopin make the mini pill less effective if ive continued to take it at the same time daily and havent missed any pills?

It’s always best to ask your prescribing physician questions of interaction between medications your taking. That said, the mini-pill is a Progestin-only medication and will not be affected by Klonopin as estrogen containing combo formulas will.
