I agree with your physician that these borderline high values are no cause for concern. If you still have concerns you can have a serum electrophoresis performed to look for abnormal serum proteins such as seen in multiple myeloma or other serum protein disorders.

I answered your question previously. With that breakdown, you do not have inflammation as the cause of mildly high serum protein (globulin is not high, albumin/globulin = 1.3 is appropriate) so you are fine. By the way, what was the sodium (Na) in that blood test, was it 142 or higher?
