If my hsv-1 igg results came back at 1.95, do i have hsv-1? i was told by pcp that i dont and shouldnt worry. never had an outbreak or any symptoms. if yes, how can i prevent the transmission to my partner? difference between exposed and current?

Probably you have HSV1. So do half of all adults in the US (and up to 90% in some countries). Positive result means infection is present, not merely "exposed". In absence of obvious outbreaks, most likely around your mouth but possibly genital, transmission to other persons is very unlikely. Very different than HSV2. Don't worry at all about this: it's a normal and expected test result.
