Went to the doctor for pain in my anus and he did a very short physical exam. he said hes certain its an anal fistula/fissure but i have had no drainage and no bleeding. prescribed ciproflaxin & metronidazole. when will i get better?

Anal fistulas/fissures may from be difficult to visualize. A more thorough exam may be necessary from a colo-rectal surgeon for appropriate treatment to result in return to normal.
