Hi, i had a bilateral varicocelectomy done 15 days ago and everything is going ok. my erections now are really harder, almost painfull. is this normal? perhaps because of higher level of testosterone? it was low before the surgery. thanks?

Varicocele: The surgery can improve your testosterone level, although ,I think that 3 weeks may be too soon to see a significant change. However, the improvement in the erection quality is a good sign. As to the pain, this may be related to the proximity recent surgery to your penis. Wait a few weeks to see if the pain decreases as the surgical sites heal. If it persists see the doctor who did the surgery,
