Is there a reason why herpes is not part of the std panel test? igm or igg?

STD testing ?'s: STD "panels" are determined by the actual lab performing the tests. Tests for Herpes I/II are done via both IgM and IgG antibody tests, so if not provided by a panel, must be added by the ordering provider.
