Viral STD ?'s: Although both Herpes I/II and human papilloma (HPV) viral infections are very contagious, the exposure does require contact with a mucous membrane. What is described does not cover prior contacts with sexual partners, where Herpes I/II or HPV may have been transmitted but may be in a dormant state.
