Not Herpes: Pus consists of dead white blood cells plus bacteria. All types of Herpes are viruses, as such can cause inflammation and inflammatory papules, spots, warts etc. but not pus. Thus you are describing a pustule or mini-abscess. You may require antibiotics if the pus containing sore/blister does not clear up after it has discharged it's pus.
