I take ashlyna (generic of seasonique). with winter and cold/flu season approaching i wanted to check & see if there are any interactions between ashlyna and vitamin c. will it lessen the effectiveness of the pill? i have read mixed reviews online?

Oral bcp ?'s: Vitamin C will not generally interfere with the effectiveness of oral contraception. Ashlyna (Seasonique) is a low dose oral contraceptive, so make sure you take the active pills punctually (within the hour of the previous day's active pill) as breakthrough bleeding may occur.
