Ive been recently diagnosed with pid and chlamydia. after taking a few days of my pid medication, ive thrown up two of the doses (metronidazole and doxycycline). ive also tried to take my azithromycin but ive thrown it up as well. ?

Metallic taste: Metronidazole causes metallic taste,, nausea and it can be improved by use of lemon and black pepper with food. During your next visit with ob/gyn, you may be lucky and may not need replacement of few pills. Please abstain from alcohol.

Follow up with doc: You cannot kill the germs unless you can complete an adequate treatment. Contact your treating doc & work with them to find some plan suitable for your sensitivities. If not you can easily become sterile and or require hospital based treatment.
