Can i take metronidazole 500mg(prescribed for bv, two a day) and azithromycin(prescribed for chlamydia) at the same time? the metronidazole is supposed to be taken once in the morning and once at night and the azithromycin im supposed to take a ll 4 capsu

It : It is ok to take both, but you might want to give your stomach at least a 20 minute rest in between the Azithromycin dose and the Metronidazole dose. Both can cause stomach upset, so taking them together may make you feel pretty miserable. Taking them with food or milk can help. Good luck! and remember not to have unprotected sex for 7 days after treatment and make sure your partner has been treated, too to prevent reinfection. Good luck!
