A member asked:

Hello is two year after exposure enough to detect hpv by dna test? is incubation period related to appearing of the symptoms or being detectable by test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibody test: HPV is usually tested by antibody test rather than DNA. Vast majority of the people are able to eliminate the HPV virus. You are still young enough that you should take HPV vaccine to prevent infection with other strains of the virus. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
