Bright blood: Generally a tiny amount of bright red blood on the paper only after wiping and not mixed with the stool is superficial and from external hemorrhoids,anal fissure or perianal dermatitis. Nevertheless if it continues a physician should perform a rectal examination and visually inspect the anal area to be sure.
