After 10 years i left my contraceptive and now at 38 years my period came normal for two months then a week early now a week late from last date. i have been sexually active with protection could i be pregnant or could my period be late?

Pregnant?: Wait another week, and if your period does not occur, get a serum HCG test to make certain you are not pregnant. If you start to experience prolonged bleeding and abdominal pain, and the test is positive, see your gyn provider immediately, as ectopic pregnancy is also possible.
