Not medical issue: Your issue is not contagious, or of direct risk to others in the workplace. Whether or not an employer would hire someone with PTSD or on mind altering drugs would be up to their HR departments. In a larger company, accommodations are required for some forms of impairment, but this is something you would work out with them.
