One way to find out: Yes, you could have endometriosis. The best way to find out Is to have a board certified OB GYN MD do a laparoscopy to look for endometriosis and if found, could be a "2 for 99 special" by treatment at the same time as the surgery. Spontaneous resolution of documented endometriosis is rare to non-existent.

Yes: Medications such as progestins, in various forms, or gonadotropin releasing hormone agents, can put endometriosis in check. OCP's can work as well.
