Is it risky to travel with a 1year 4month old baby? is she at risk of catching viruses in the airport or airplane?

Should be ok: A 16 month-old (or 26 or 36 month-old) is safe to fly but can catch a contagious disease while traveling, just like we all can catch. It's best to avoid being stuck in a crowd, to avoid being sneezed or coughed upon. The plane seats in front of a wall, but away from toilets, may have fewer surrounding passengers, and maybe fewer airborne germs (but not sure if there is research to confirm that).
