Stand back from fire: As president Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, in 1933 about 84 years ago, "...let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself..." Medicine, like everyday life, is full of uncertainties because even the rarest events "can" happen. The real question is, how "likely" is it to happen? It is very unlikely to die from bonfire toxins if everybody else is alive and well.
