Not to die for: Your best plan is to see your physician. The severity of the head injury is important. If you had a concussion and lost consciouness then I woud be concerned. This does not sound like this caused internal brain injury and that is good news. Please see your physiscian and not stress over this.

Head trauma: Depending on how hard you hit your head, if you lost consciousness, or have other symptoms. If you have a severe headache, loss of vision, nausea and/or vomiting, weakness or numbness on one side or the other of your body. If the headache is mild and relieved by motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) you should be fine. If the headache is persistent, severe or have any of the above symptoms you should go to the ER

You will not Die! bu: Headache can occur due to injury to the head. You can take a couple of tylenols (acetaminophen) and that will help. if the headache is getting worse and is more severe tomorrow or if you feel nauseated or start vomiting these are bad signs and require a medical check up.
