Dull but shooting pain from butt into mid thigh; i had to sit in uncomfortable chairs for 5 hours today. feels worse when stressed. sciatic?

It can come from sitting on hard chairs. In my experience anti inflammatory medication can be helpful - naprosyn or ibuprofen. Warm heating pad may also be helpful. Good luck
