Gum lesions: These could be similar to canker sores or viral eruptions. Another possibility is a reaction to toothpaste, mouthwash, certain foods. Residual redness may reflect some gingivitis. If symptoms persist consult an otolaryngologist or an oral surgeon for evaluation and advice.
