A member asked:

Had a cluster of white bumps on my gums a few days ago, they're gone but the gums are still red. no pain. no herpes symptoms, what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gum lesions: These could be similar to canker sores or viral eruptions. Another possibility is a reaction to toothpaste, mouthwash, certain foods. Residual redness may reflect some gingivitis. If symptoms persist consult an otolaryngologist or an oral surgeon for evaluation and advice.
