Had the implanon for 2 1/2 yrs. i got it took out and got the depo shot the same day on feb. 12, 2016. how long will it take for my period to return?

No periods still..: Implanon and Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) are nearly the same medication. Both contain a type of Progesterone and both can keep you from having periods. You may still not have any periods while on Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone). Best wishes!
