Can happen: Hi. Nexplanon is a progesterone only medicine that is implanted surgically. Its advantage is not having to get shots. But not having periods, or having light periods, is a common result. You should consult the practitioner who implanted the Nexplanon if you are concerned about pregnancy, but its unlikely.
