The most likely: cause is viral gastroenteritis. This is a mild infection that almost always comes without any specific identifiable exposure and leaves in a few days after gradually improving. Treatment is supportive: calorie and electrolyte rich fluids as tolerated (Gatorade), easily tolerated food (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast-BRAT diet), rest. If doesn't improve in a day or two, consult your Doctor.
