Intestinal/abd issue: When you cough, the pressure (valsalva) caused will push the lungs down on the intestines and can aggravate some abdominal or intestinal issue, such as a strain of your abdominal muscles, or a hernia, etc. Best for you to get checked if the pain persists. Good luck.
