Depends on std: Some will produce symptoms and findings that overlap with a UTI. Most STD's require expensive testing beyond the normal urinalysis and culture.These germs often go to different tissues and will not show up on basic UTI tests. If you suspect you were exposed, be sure to tell the healthcare provider or it may be overlooked.
