I have pain around the urethra above the scrotum, normally when sitting or walking. could this be uti? i don't have any blood in the urine or burning.

Probably not UTI: UTIs are rare in men your age, and don't cause this sort of pain -- although the exact location isn't clear. The main symptoms of UTI are painful and urgent urination. If you have any abnormal discharge from the penis, an STD is likely, if you are sexually active and potentially at risk. See a doctor if symptoms continue or in doubt. Good luck!
