One option: Birth control is one option that can be used for women with PCOS who are not having menstrual cycles. There are others. Many times the treatment plan depends on the goals. If the patient is actively trying to get pregnant then birth control pills are not a good option at that time in her life. If not trying then they are a good option for many.
