Possible: Your doctor placed you on metformin. A diabetes drug that lowers blood sugar. We do use this in PCO patients, but I'm concerned that your doc didn't clarify this with you when it was prescribed. I would ask if you have evidence of PCO or he/she is just presuming it. You may need a more thorough work up.
